California Notice at Collection of Personal Information: Boost collects the personal information listed below under “Personal Information Collected” for the purposes described under “How Boost Mobile Uses Personal Information.” You can learn more about your California privacy rights, including your right to opt out of the sale of personal information, in the section below on “Your California Privacy Rights.”
There are several ways in which Boost Mobile collects information about you.
If we have trouble processing your order, the contact information you provide is used to get in touch with you. We also use this contact information to provide you with updates regarding your current phone or service and to provide you with information about Boost Mobile promotions and special offers.
We may offer the opportunity to participate in contests, giveaways, or other similar promotions we sponsor. Except as explained otherwise in the rules for a particular contest, giveaway, or promotion, any personal information you provide will be used in accordance with this Policy.

Affiliates. We may share personal and non-personal information with affiliated entities for approved business purposes, as well as information about your use of the Services in order to provide the Services and measure the performance of our network and your devices. We may share credit-related, payment history and transactional information in connection with some of our Services, as described in Boost’s Financial Privacy Notice.
Boost's Service Providers. We may share personal information with companies that perform services, including advertising on our websites and mobile apps, on our behalf. These companies include:
Third Party Verification Services. We may share limited personal information (e.g., address, phone number) with non-Boost entities to assist with identity verification, and to prevent fraud and identity theft.
Group Account Holders. We offer group accounts to business and government customers, family customers and other group account holders ("Group Accounts"). The account holder for Group Accounts is the entity or person that buys the service or product for its employees, family members or other authorized users. You (as the user of a device) may receive service, certain pricing, terms or other benefits through a Group Account with us. If so, we may share with that Group Account holder customer registration and other information related to your use of our Services.
Other Third Parties with Your Consent. We may share information with other third parties for purposes disclosed to you at the time of collection, as requested by you, or with your consent. For example, you may agree to our sharing of your information with other third parties to hear about their products and services, or when you sign up for a discount or reward program, including when you sign up for a service discount through the Boost Mobile Discount Program. Use of the information you agree to share will be subject to those third parties' separate privacy policies.
Business Transfers. Personal information about you may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, sale of company assets or transition of service to another provider. In the unlikely event of an insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership, personal information may also be transferred as a business asset.

Boost Mobile does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. You should be aware that if you purchase a Boost services device and allow a child under the age of 13 to use it, any information collected from the usage of that device will appear to be your personal information and treated as such under this Policy.

Do Not Track. Some web browsers allow you to send a “Do Not Track” request. We do not recognize such requests. Cookies. You can disable cookies through your Internet browser settings. However, some parts and features of our site require cookies, and you may be unable to use these site areas or features if you disable cookies. Account Information. We may share information collected from or received from you in aggregated or de-identified form. For example, we may conduct market or traffic flow analysis based on aggregated data, such as the number of subscribers who visited a given sports stadium. We may provide reports based on aggregated data to third parties.
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives California consumers the right to know what personal information is collected about them, and how it will be used, disclosed, and sold. The CCPA also gives California consumers the right to request access to and deletion of their personal information, and the right to request that their personal information not be sold, and the right not to be discriminated against after exercising privacy rights. The purpose of this section of the Policy is to provide consumers with a description of our practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and sale of personal information and instructions for submitting CCPA requests.

We do not knowingly sell personal information about persons under the age of 16.

How to Submit an Access or Deletion Request
In 2020, DISH acquired Boost Mobile. There is currently a transition period where, for some customers (depending on where you activated service), T-Mobile will be fulfilling your privacy rights request, and for others, DISH will handle your request.

How to Opt Out of the Sale of Personal Information
To opt out of the sale of your personal information, please click the Do Not Sell My Personal Information link on our website or here.
Verification of Your Identity
To process your request for access or deletion, we must be able to verify your identity to a reasonable degree of certainty. In order to do so, you must provide the required identifying information when completing the online request form or making a request through one of our customer service agents. We will ask you to provide your contact information and an additional identifier based on your relationship with us. Before we process your request, we will match these data points with data points we currently maintain to verify your identity and your relationship with us.
Responding to Your Requests
Please note that we may not be required to delete information under certain circumstances. For example, the CCPA includes exemptions that provide that we do not have to delete data that is necessary to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, or for certain other internal purposes.
Authorized Agent Requests
You can designate an authorized agent to make a request to know, delete, or opt-out on your behalf. When you use an authorized agent to submit a request for access or deletion, you must provide the authorized agent with written permission to do so, and, in certain circumstances, we may ask you to verify your own identity directly with us. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been authorized by you to act on your behalf.
Shine the Light Disclosures
Boost Mobile may share personal information with third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes. California residents may request the categories of personal information Boost Mobile shared with third parties during the previous calendar year and the names of such third parties, if any. Written requests may be sent to the DISH Legal Department, Attn: Privacy, P.O. Box 6655, Englewood, CO 80155-6655. Boost will respond to these requests within 30 days. Requests sent to Boost by other means may result in a delayed response.
