What is the difference between a capped and an unlimited plan?

 

A capped plan means that once you've used up your data allotment for the given period, you will no longer be able to use data on your phone, preventing you from surfing the web, sending MMS, etc. An unlimited plan, on the other hand, will experience reduced speeds once you have reached your data allotment and you will be able to still use data on your device at a reduced speed.

 

What happens if I run out data before the end of my billing cycle?

Why do the plans have 5G/4G data?

You must have a 5G capable device and in an area where 5G service is available in order to take advantage of 5G speeds. If you do not meet these requirements, you can still enjoy the speed of 4G.

 

What's the benefit of a multi-month plan?

By paying up front for multi-month plans, you can pay for the plan at a discounted rate. 

 

What is Mobile Hotspot?

Mobile hotspot allows your phone to act as a modem to connect your other devices. Mobile hotspot allocations will vary by plan.

 

Who can activate on these plans?

All new Boost customers with a compatible phone.

 

Can I add a line to my plan?

Not at this time, please check back soon.

 

Will I be notified when I’m close to using all of my 5G/4G data?

Yes, you will receive a text message notifying you that you're close to consuming all your data.

 

Do these plans also offer domestic voice roaming?

Yes, all plans include 50 minutes of domestic voice roaming on Android devices only.

 

What is Todo Mexico PLUS?

Todo Mexico offers unlimited calls to and from Mexico including mobile lines, unlimited calls to Canada including mobile lines, unlimited (SMS only) texting to Mexico, and up to 8GB of data roaming in Mexico.

 

What happens if I miss my payment? Will my phone services still work?

Your service will be interrupted until you add enough money to your account to cover your monthly payment amount. However, for 30 days from your missed payment date, you will have access to limited services (incoming text messages, incoming phone calls, and the ability to call Boost Mobile Customer Care).

 

On the day you make your payment to restore your service, your next monthly payment date will be one day prior to the date that service was restored (e.g., if your service is restored on February 15th, your monthly payment date will be reset to March 14th).

 

You have 120 days to resume service by paying your monthly payment in full or your account will be cancelled and you will lose all funds in your account balance and your phone number.
